Just above the working class, there are those that make sure the factories and other shops run in good order. Don't be fooled, though, these men and women are only one rung ahead of the rest. Rather than slaving away on the lower levels of the workplace, or dirtying their hands in the back, they have to deal with the entirely different beast of upper management - the underhanded, and enigmatic so-called 'leaders' of the Los Angeles community. They may receive a healthier paycheck for their endeavors, some of which even force them to help out with the workload once in a while, but it's rare that the extra pocket change is worth the abuse. It's not uncommon to see overseers replaced after mysterious disappearances or unpredictable 'work-related accidents'.
