Sunset Boulevard

Once a famed street in Los Angeles, has made the switch from famous to infamous with the aid of the new world, and the regime now poised over it of the same name. The entire street, along with miles and miles around it, are all controlled by the devious and quick-tempered Queen Charlotte, who has used her position of power to not just build a territory, but an empire of sorts. Sunset Boulevard not only sports a base of operations, but a full military force of trained (and well-armed) gunmen. With a guarantee of nice living conditions, plenty of food, water, and comfort for them and their families, it's easy to want to go join the ranks there. There is also a multitude of shops, and business is very good all along the area. It is also right near the Factory District, so new supplies are just a call away. It may seem like a paradise metropolis, but it is in fact far from it. The almost totalitarian state of affairs there keeps even the militia itself in fear of saying anything that might be taken as a knock against the current government. The business owners are terrorized for overly high taxes that they don't dare fight against. Conversely, they also don't dare move their business elsewhere for fear of what might happen to them. Queen Charlotte seems to have uncanny connections not only to LOCK, but somehow to the mainland as she often knows about affairs taking place there. This information alone is enough to know what a powerful force she is in Los Angeles, and why it's not wise to cross her without a full army of one's own. This is a high class and generally perceived as 'safe' area for people with money. However, Charlotte's hold over the area and her thirst for power keep it in tight lockdown, and with a full working military at her command, she makes sure no one trifles with her territory. There are rumors stirring that she wants to expand her rule to more areas, but there is no doubt that she is the only one who wants this to happen. Sunset Boulevard includes other unique areas aside from just hoity-toity shops and high-security gates.
